About the Role

KAEM Softwares Private Limited is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to support our legal, contractual, compliance, and documentation requirements. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical exposure to legal matters within a growing software and technology company.

The candidate will work closely with the management and technology/business teams and gain hands-on experience in IT contracts, software licensing, intellectual property, confidentiality, data protection, corporate documentation, and general legal research.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and maintaining NDAs, service agreements, software development agreements, vendor agreements, employment documents, and other contracts.
- Conduct legal research on applicable laws, regulations, and technology-related legal matters.
- Assist with software licensing, intellectual property, copyright, trademark, and confidentiality matters.
- Support the review of client and vendor contracts and identify important legal/commercial clauses.
- Assist in preparing legal notices, letters, declarations, undertakings, and other legal documents.
- Research matters relating to IT laws, data privacy,



cybersecurity, SaaS, e-commerce, and technology contracts.
- Maintain legal records, agreements, compliance documents, and contract trackers.
- Assist management in identifying potential contractual and legal risks.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external legal professionals when required.
- Assist with general corporate and compliance-related legal work.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing LLB / 3-year LLB / 5-year integrated law degree or recently graduated.
- Valuable understanding of basic contract law and legal principles.
- Strong legal research and documentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to review documents carefully.
- Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and online legal research tools.
- Interest in Technology Law, Corporate Law, Intellectual Property, Data Protection, IT Law, or Contract Law will be an advantage.Preferred Candidate.
- Advocate license/enrolment with the Bar Council is required.

Stipend: Based on skills and interview
Work Location: Andheri West, Mumbai

Pay: ₹1,100.00 - ₹25,583.45 per month
