Endoscopy Technician – Job Description

- Assist doctors during endoscopy procedures and ensure all required equipment and accessories are available and ready for use.
- Prepare the endoscopy room, equipment, instruments, and consumables before each procedure.
- Operate and handle endoscopy equipment safely as per manufacturer guidelines and hospital protocols.
- Assist with patient preparation, positioning, transfer, and post-procedure care as instructed.
- Perform cleaning, disinfection, drying, and appropriate storage of endoscopes and accessories as per infection-control protocols.
- Maintain proper documentation of procedures, equipment usage, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization records.
- Check endoscopy equipment regularly and report malfunction, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Ensure adequate availability and proper handling of consumables, accessories, and emergency equipment.




- Follow hospital policies related to infection prevention, patient safety, biomedical waste management, and confidentiality.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, CSSD, and other departments for smooth and protected conduct of endoscopy procedures.

Additional Skills:

- Knowledge of endoscopy equipment and accessories
- Knowledge of infection prevention and endoscope reprocessing
- Basic understanding of patient safety and emergency procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Knowledge of biomedical waste management

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
