Key Responsibilities

Operate capsule filling machines and associated equipment as per SOP and Batch Manufacturing Record (BMR).

Perform machine setup, adjustment, operation, and basic troubleshooting.

Ensure correct dispensing and loading of approved materials into the machine.

Monitor capsule filling operations, machine parameters, and production output.

Maintain required production yield and minimize material/product wastage.

Perform in-process checks such as capsule weight, appearance, locking, and other specified parameters.

Maintain proper documentation of production activities, machine parameters, and in-process checks.

Follow GMP, SOP, safety, and hygiene requirements at all times.

Ensure proper line clearance before starting and after completion of each batch.

Clean and sanitize the machine and production area as per approved procedures.

Report machine breakdowns, abnormalities, deviations, or quality issues to the Production Officer/Manager.

Coordinate with QA/QC, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments whenever required.

Ensure proper handling and segregation of rejected, damaged, or defective capsules.

Follow proper gowning and personnel hygiene requirements in the production area.

Assist in changeover, batch-to-batch cleaning,



and equipment dismantling/assembly as required.

Ensure proper identification and status labeling of materials, equipment, and batches.

Maintain the cleanliness and housekeeping of the capsule production area.

Follow all safety precautions while operating machinery.

Support productivity improvement and reduction of machine downtime.

Perform any other production-related duties assigned by the Production Officer / Production Manager.

Required Skills

Knowledge of capsule filling machine operation.

Basic understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of GMP and SOP compliance.

Ability to understand and maintain BMR/BPR documentation.

Basic knowledge of machine troubleshooting.

Good observation and attention to detail.

Ability to work in shifts.

Qualification & Experience

Qualification: ITI / Diploma / HSC / equivalent, as per company requirement.

Experience: 2–5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical capsule manufacturing preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
