About the Role
Verritas Furniture is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations at our Bengaluru manufacturing plant. You will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring a smooth, cost-effective supply chain to support production timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and execute procurement of raw materials (wood, laminates, hardware, foam, fabric, etc.) required for furniture manufacturing
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to optimize cost without compromising quality
- Coordinate with production and inventory teams to forecast material requirements and avoid stockouts or overstocking
- Monitor vendor performance, delivery timelines, and quality compliance
- Maintain purchase records, PO tracking,



and procurement budgets
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and statutory requirements
- Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or quality disputes with vendors
- Explore new suppliers/materials for cost savings and product innovation

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in procurement/purchasing, preferably in furniture, wood, or manufacturing industry
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Working knowledge of ERP/inventory management systems
- Good understanding of raw materials used in furniture manufacturing
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Ability to work on-site at the Bengaluru plant
