- Responsibilities
- Carry out assembly and fitting of chains and related mechanical components as per work instructions.
- Assemble and install chains, sprockets, shafts, bearings, rollers, bushes, brackets and other mechanical parts.
- Perform proper chain alignment, sprocket alignment and chain tensioning during assembly.
- Ensure correct positioning and fitment of all components before final tightening.
- Maintain proper 5S, cleanliness and housekeeping at the workplace.
- Requirements and Qualifications
- ITI – Fitter / Vocational
- Experience required – 1 to 3 Yrs in of relevant experience in mechanical assembly, chain assembly.
- Must have Valuable understanding of mechanical fitting, alignment and assembly procedures.
- Should be Able to use hand tools and power tools such as spanners, torque wrenches, Allen keys.
- Should have an Understanding of fasteners, nuts, bolts, washers, bearings, shafts, sprockets and mechanical drive components.
