- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Pathology Department.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and quality laboratory reporting.
- Supervise laboratory technicians, phlebotomists, and support staff.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate manpower.
- Implement and monitor laboratory SOPs, quality protocols, and TAT.
- Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH standards and quality requirements.
- Monitor IQC, EQAS, quality indicators, and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper sample collection, identification, transportation, processing, and storage.
- Monitor equipment, calibration, preventive maintenance, and breakdowns.
- Manage reagents, consumables, inventory, and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate with Pathologists, clinicians, nursing, front office, and other departments.
- Maintain laboratory records and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Organize staff training and competency assessments.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase Pathology test volumes and revenue.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with doctors, clinics, hospitals,



corporates, and referral partners.
- Promote preventive health check-ups and specialized laboratory packages.
- Develop and promote corporate health check-up and diagnostic packages.
- Coordinate with the marketing team for laboratory campaigns, health camps, and promotional activities.
- Identify new business opportunities and referral channels.
- Conduct regular visits and follow-ups with referring doctors and healthcare organizations.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and local diagnostic requirements.
- Track referral volumes, revenue, and marketing performance.
- Coordinate with management to develop new tests, packages, and outreach initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities and achievements.
