About the Position

CDCE Automation & Robotics is looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering and automation team. The selected candidate will support machine assembly, mechanical fabrication, component installation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of industrial automation and special-purpose machines.

This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing practical mechanical skills and building a career in Industrial Automation, Robotics, and Machine Building.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist in mechanical assembly and installation of machines and automation systems.
- Support fabrication, fitting, and installation activities as per engineering drawings.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly layouts.
- Assist in assembling mechanical components, structures, brackets, conveyors, fixtures, and machine parts.
- Support installation of pneumatic and mechanical components.
- Assist in selecting and arranging mechanical components as per project requirements.
- Support machine testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
- Identify mechanical issues during assembly and assist senior engineers in resolving them.
- Coordinate with electrical and automation teams during machine integration.
- Maintain proper tools, components, drawings, and project-related records.
- Support installation and service activities at customer locations when required.




- Follow company safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.

Educational Qualification

Candidates with any of the following qualifications can apply:

- 10th Pass
- ITI – Fitter / Machinist / Mechanical-related Trade
- Diploma – Mechanical Engineering or related field

Freshers are welcome to apply.

Skills & Knowledge

- Basic understanding of mechanical components and machine assembly.
- Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of tools, measuring instruments, and fitting practices.
- Knowledge of bearings, shafts, couplings, gears, fasteners, and other mechanical components is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems is preferred.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Basic understanding of fabrication and machining processes is beneficial.
- Good learning attitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as part of a project and engineering team.
- Willingness to travel to customer locations when required.
