About the Role

We are looking for a creative, customer-focused and target-driven Interior Designer & Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. The role combines interior design expertise with consultative selling, helping customers select the right curtains, blinds, wallpapers, flooring, upholstery, mattresses, bed linen and other furnishing products.

Key Responsibilities

- Meet customers in the showroom and understand their design preferences, requirements and budget.
- Provide professional advice on colours, fabrics, patterns, textures, finishes and overall styling.
- Recommend suitable furnishing solutions based on the customer's space and requirements.
- Create mood boards, design concepts, layouts and product presentations where required.
- Prepare quotations and product proposals and explain them clearly to customers.
- Take ownership of enquiries from initial consultation to quotation, follow-up and order closure.
- Actively follow up on quotations and leads to maximise conversions.
- Achieve individual and store-level sales targets and revenue goals.
- Build strong customer relationships and generate repeat business and referrals.
- Coordinate with the measurement, service, warehouse and installation teams to ensure orders are executed correctly.
- Understand product specifications, pricing, availability and lead times.




- Keep up with new products, design trends, fabrics and furnishing solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups and sales.
- Ensure a high-quality showroom experience and professional customer service.
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell complementary furnishing products.

Requirements

- 1–5 years of experience in interior design, home décor, furnishings or consultative sales preferred.
- Qualification in Interior Design / Architecture / related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of colours, fabrics, materials, space planning and design aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a target-oriented mindset.
- Ability to understand customer needs and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D software, Canva or other design tools is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of MS Office/Excel and ability to prepare quotations.
- Well-groomed, confident and comfortable interacting with customers.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with different teams.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
