Job Responsibilities includes:

- Preparing patients before cardiac procedures
- Reviewing medical history and laboratory results
- Performing patient assessments
- Monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms
- Administering medications and conscious sedation (where applicable)
- Assisting physicians during procedures
- Responding to emergency situations
- Monitoring patients during recovery
- Educating patients and families about post-procedure care
- Coordinating discharge planning and follow-up care

Cath Lab Nurses also collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive protected, efficient, and evidence-based cardiovascular care.
