1*. Job Summary*

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Chartered Accountant to lead the complete Accounts & Finance function of a growing manufacturing organization.

The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in banking, working capital management, trade finance, taxation, financial reporting, cash-flow management and statutory compliances.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the organization's overall financial health, optimizing working capital, managing banking relationships and credit facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening internal controls, and providing timely financial insights to the Management for business decision-making.

This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong execution capability. The candidate should be comfortable managing both strategic finance functions and day-to-day operational matters.

2. Key Responsibilities

A*. Banking & Treasury Management*

- Manage all day-to-day banking and treasury operations.
- Handle and negotiate CC/OD limits, BG, LC, FLC and other trade finance facilities.
- Manage interchangeability between CC, BG, LC and FLC limits, wherever applicable.
- Prepare and submit:
- Stock Statements
- Book Debt Statements
- DP Statements
- Bank MIS
- Other periodic bank reports
- Prepare and review CMA Data for:
- Working Capital Limits
- Term Loans
- Enhancement / Renewal of Limits
- New Banking Facilities
- Liaise and negotiate with banks and financial institutions for:
- Working Capital Limits
- CC / OD Facilities
- Term Loans
- BG / LC / FLC Limits
- Enhancement of Existing Limits
- Loan Documentation
- Renewals and Sanctions
- Interest Rates and Banking Charges
- Maintain strong and professional relationships with multiple banking partners.
- Monitor utilization of banking limits and optimize financing costs.
- Ensure timely submission of all bank statements, certificates, financial information and compliance documents.

B. Working Capital & Cash Flow Management

- Take ownership of the company's working capital cycle.
- Prepare and monitor daily/weekly/monthly cash-flow statements.
- Ensure optimum utilization of available funds and banking limits.
- Monitor:
- Receivables
- Inventory
- Payables
- Banking limits
- Cash balances
- Develop strategies to improve cash conversion cycle and liquidity.
- Plan fund requirements in line with business growth and raw-material requirements.
- Monitor finance costs and identify opportunities for reduction.

C. Accounts Receivable & Credit Control

- Monitor customer outstanding and debtor ageing.
- Establish and monitor customer credit limits and payment terms.
- Coordinate with Sales/Commercial teams for timely collections.
- Review overdue receivables and initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure customer ledger reconciliation and resolution of discrepancies.
- Prepare periodic Debtors Ageing and Collection MIS for Management.
- Improve the overall receivables cycle and reduce working-capital blockage.

D. Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

- Plan vendor payments based on cash-flow availability and agreed credit terms.
- Ensure timely and controlled vendor payments.
- Monitor vendor outstanding and ageing.
- Ensure vendor ledger reconciliation.
- Coordinate with Purchase/Stores teams regarding invoices, GRNs and payment approvals.




- Optimize payable days without affecting vendor relationships or business continuity.

E. Financial Reporting & MIS

- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing.
- Prepare and present Management MIS covering:
- Revenue
- Gross Margin
- EBITDA
- Profitability
- Working Capital
- Receivables
- Payables
- Inventory
- Cash Flow
- Finance Cost
- Budget vs Actual
- Provide meaningful financial analysis and business insights to the Management.
- Prepare financial statements and schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Develop financial dashboards and reporting systems for Management review.

F. Budgeting, Cost Control & Profitability

- Lead annual budgeting and financial planning.
- Prepare budgets for revenue, expenses, working capital and capital expenditure.
- Conduct Budget vs Actual analysis and identify significant variances.
- Monitor product/customer-wise profitability wherever required.
- Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Work closely with Management and Operations teams to improve margins and profitability.
- Evaluate financial implications of major business decisions and investments.

G. Taxation & Statutory Compliance

- Ensure timely and accurate compliance relating to:
- GST
- TDS
- Income Tax
- Advance Tax
- Tax Audit
- Other applicable statutory requirements
- Oversee GST reconciliations, returns and related assessments.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and advisors.
- Manage income-tax assessments, notices and related proceedings.
- Ensure timely statutory filings and compliance.
- Keep Management updated on significant tax exposures and regulatory developments.

H. Audit & Compliance

- Coordinate with Statutory Auditors for annual audits.
- Coordinate and oversee Internal Audits.
- Ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Strengthen accounting policies, processes and internal financial controls.
- Identify financial and operational control weaknesses and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure proper documentation and audit trails.

I. Inventory & Manufacturing Finance

- Oversee accounting and financial controls relating to inventory.
- Monitor:
- Raw Material
- WIP
- Finished Goods
- Scrap
- Stores & Spares
- Ensure periodic physical stock verification and reconciliation.
- Review inventory valuation and provisions.
- Analyze inventory holding and slow-moving/obsolete inventory.
- Work closely with Production, Purchase and Stores teams to improve inventory efficiency.
- Understand and monitor manufacturing cost structures and product costing.

J. ERP, Systems & Process Improvement

- Ensure effective utilization of Tally Prime and other financial systems.
- Improve accounting processes, controls and reporting systems.
- Automate routine financial MIS wherever possible.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across finance and accounting systems.
- Develop SOPs and financial control mechanisms for key processes.

K. Team Leadership





- Lead and mentor the Accounts & Finance team.
- Allocate responsibilities and establish transparent KRAs.
- Review team performance and ensure timely completion of accounting and compliance activities.
- Build a strong and accountable finance team.
- Train team members and continuously improve finance processes.
- Ensure adequate segregation of duties and internal controls.

4. Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- 12–18 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
- Strong experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Cable & Wire / Electrical / Engineering / Auto / Industrial Manufacturing will be preferred.
- Strong hands-on experience in banking and working capital management.
- Proven experience in managing multiple banking relationships and credit facilities.
- Solid understanding of BG, LC, FLC and trade finance.
- Excellent CMA preparation and financial modelling skills.
- Strong taxation and statutory compliance knowledge.
- Commercially oriented with strong business understanding.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
- Should be capable of working independently and taking ownership.
- Should be comfortable interacting directly with Promoters/Directors/Management.
- Should have a stable employment history and demonstrated long-term associations.
- Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in mid-sized / promoter-driven manufacturing organizations and have managed a broad finance function independently.

8. CTC: As per industry standards and candidate experience

Pay: ₹36,671.24 - ₹137,420.05 per month
