Required Skills & Qualification:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
- Relevant experience in HMC operation and CNC programming.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, cutting parameters, tooling, and machining processes.
- Ability to independently handle machine setting, programming, and production.

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate and set Horizontal Machining Centre (HMC) machines for precision components manufcaturing.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, machining drawings, and technical specifications.
- Perform machine setting, job loading, fixture setting, and tool setting, and work offset setting.
- Prepare, enter, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-codes and M-codes.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, holders, and machining parameters.
- Carry out roughing, finishing, drilling, tapping, boring, milling, and other machining operations.
- Set and maintain tool offset and make necessary dimensional corrections during production.
- Check components dimensions using vernier caliper, micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge, and other precision instruments.
- Understand and apply tolerances, fits,



surface finish requirements, and basic GD&T.;
- Monitor machine performance, spindle load, cutting conditions, coolant flow, and tool life.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining defects, tool wear, vibration, dimensional variation, and programming errors.
- Carry out first-piece inspection and accessories in proper working condition.
- Perform basic preventive maintainance and report machine breakdowns or technical issues.
- Maintain machine tools, fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories in proper working condition.
- Maintain production, inspection, tool-change, and machine- related recordds.
- Follow safety procedures, quality standards, 5S, and housekeeping requirements.
- Achieve production targets while maintaining required accuracy, quality, and productivity.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams for smooth manufacturing operations.
