Role Description The Housekeeping Executive is a full time, on-site role based at Chankya Picture Palace in Prayagraj. The role involves supervising daily cleaning and maintenance of auditoriums, lobbies, restrooms, and back-of-house areas to ensure consistent cleanliness and presentation standards. The Housekeeping Executive coordinates housekeeping staff schedules, assigns tasks, and monitors performance, while ensuring that cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and used safely. This position also handles guest requests related to cleanliness, responds to issues promptly, and works closely with other departments to support smooth cinema operations.



The role includes training team members in hygiene practices, safety procedures, and service standards, and preparing regular reports on housekeeping activities.
Qualifications

- Ability to manage housekeeping operations with strong organization skills, including task planning, time management, and attention to detail.
- Competence in laundry operations, including handling linens, uniforms, and cleaning fabrics in accordance with hygiene standards.
- Strong communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members, and to resolve cleanliness-related concerns.
- Experience in training housekeeping staff on cleaning methods, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Prior experience in housekeeping, facilities management, or hospitality is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform manual tasks for extended periods, and to adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and environmentally responsible practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality or housekeeping certification is an advantage.
