Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior AutoCAD Draughtsman (male/Female) to join our Civil / Land Surveying / CAD Drafting team.

The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of AutoCAD and an interest in developing practical skills in Land Surveying Drafting, Survey Drawings, Contour Mapping, and Civil 3D.

The candidate will work under the guidance of senior civil engineers and draftsmen to prepare accurate CAD drawings, process survey-related data, and support day-to-day drafting activities.

Educational Qualification

Diploma in Civil Engineering / Civil Draughtsman.

B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.

ITI in Civil Draughtsman or equivalent relevant qualification.

AutoCAD certification or relevant drafting training will be an advantage.

Freshers with good AutoCAD knowledge are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills & Experience

Basic to intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.

Understanding of civil drafting and technical drawings.

Basic knowledge of Land Surveying drawings and drafting concepts.

Familiarity with layers, dimensions, annotations, and drawing layouts.

Basic understanding of survey points, coordinates, levels, and measurements.

Willingness to learn Autodesk Civil 3D.

Interest in contour generation, surface models, and topographical drawings.

Good attention to detail and accuracy.

Basic computer knowledge and file management skills.

Ability to follow instructions and work with senior engineers and surveyors.

Note: Knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage. Training or willingness to learn is expected for candidates who do not have prior practical experience.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing land survey and civil drafting drawings.

Support the team in processing survey data, points, coordinates,



and levels.

Assist in preparing topographical and existing-condition drawings.

Support contour mapping and surface-related drafting tasks.

Make drawing corrections and revisions as instructed.

Maintain proper drawing layers, dimensions, annotations, and file formats.

Follow company drafting standards and project requirements.

Coordinate with senior engineers and surveyors for drawing updates.

Maintain organized project files and drafting documentation.

Learn and improve AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills through practical project work.
