Job Summary

Kapil Power & Infra (P) Ltd. is seeking an experienced QC Engineer – Construction with 5+ years of relevant experience to monitor and maintain quality standards across construction activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.

Responsibilities

- Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct inspections of civil and construction works.
- Check construction materials, workmanship and completed works.
- Ensure activities are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Review material test certificates and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, subcontractors and consultants.
- Identify quality deviations and non-conformities and ensure corrective action.
- Maintain quality checklists, inspection records and test reports.
- Coordinate material and construction testing with laboratories and third-party agencies.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly quality reports.




- Monitor and ensure timely closure of NCRs and quality observations.
- Conduct site quality inspections and audits as required.
- Support the project team in maintaining quality throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality and company standards.

Requirements

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in construction QC/QA.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality control and inspection procedures.
- Good understanding of civil construction materials and workmanship.
- Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and specifications.
- Experience in quality documentation and reporting.
- Valuable working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Willingness to work at project/site locations.

Salary

Salary will be discussed and finalized based on the candidate's experience, skills and interview performance.
