Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Assistant role located in Faridabad. The Pharmacy Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations, including receiving and processing prescriptions, preparing medications as directed by the pharmacist, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include assisting customers at the counter, answering basic product and prescription-related queries, and coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed. The role also involves managing inventory, restocking shelves, checking expiry dates, and ensuring the pharmacy area is clean, organized, and compliant with relevant standards.



The Pharmacy Assistant will handle phone calls professionally, assist with billing and documentation, and contribute to a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Qualifications

- Ability to accurately process and handle prescriptions, with attention to detail and compliance with pharmacist directions.
- Strong customer service skills, including polite interaction, problem-solving, and support for patients and caregivers.
- Proficient phone etiquette for managing inquiries, coordinating with physicians, and handling follow-up calls.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication categories, with willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
- Experience or aptitude in inventory management, including stock monitoring, restocking, and maintaining organized storage.
- Minimum high school diploma; formal pharmacy assistant training or certification is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site full time, stand for extended periods, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Good communication skills in English and local languages; prior retail pharmacy or healthcare experience is preferred.
