Hiring: Ex-GeM Tendering Executive | Government & GeM Procurement

We are looking to connect with experienced former GeM employees for a specialised Tendering Executive role with an engineering and manufacturing organisation working on modular, rapidly deployable and rugged solutions for government and institutional applications.

This role is particularly suited for professionals who have worked within GeM and have a strong practical understanding of its portal operations, procurement workflows, vendor assessment processes and government tendering mechanisms.

Role Expectations

The selected professional will be responsible for managing the tendering lifecycle, including:

• Identifying and tracking relevant tenders on GeM and other government procurement portals

• Reviewing tender documents, eligibility criteria, ATCs, technical specifications and commercial requirements

• Evaluating tender suitability and compliance before participation

• Preparing and submitting technical and financial bids within defined timelines

• Managing EMD, PBG, certificates, declarations, annexures and other tender documentation

• Handling GeM Reverse Auctions and related processes





• Coordinating with technical, procurement, sales and operations teams for pricing, specifications, delivery and compliance

• Managing pre-bid queries, clarifications, representations and official correspondence

• Tracking bid openings, technical evaluations, results and post-bid follow-ups

• Supporting vendor registration, empanelment, OEM/vendor assessment and DGQA-related processes

Ideal Profile

We are specifically looking for a former GeM employee with 2–5 years of relevant experience in GeM, government tendering, institutional procurement or a closely related function.

Solid knowledge of GeM bidding, reverse auctions, government procurement procedures, tender documentation, EMD/PBG and compliance requirements is essential.

Experience with defence, healthcare or other institutional procurement would be an added advantage.

This is an opportunity for someone who can bring first-hand GeM knowledge into a role with significant ownership of government tendering and procurement activities.
