About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our database systems to support various business applications. This role involves creating efficient database structures, writing optimized SQL queries, ensuring data integrity, and implementing security measures. The MySQL Developer will work closely with software development teams, data analysts, and system administrators to deliver high-performance, reliable, and scalable database solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of MySQL database architecture and administration.
- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
- Experience with stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
- Solid knowledge of database design principles, normalization, and indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with database backup, recovery,



and maintenance procedures.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues efficiently.
- Understanding of data security practices and access control mechanisms.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain MySQL databases and related database objects to support various applications and business needs.
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to enhance database performance and functionality.
- Design and implement database schemas, tables, indexes, and relationships to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
- Monitor database performance metrics and execute tuning activities to optimize query execution and resource utilization.
- Ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of data by implementing appropriate access controls and security measures.
- Perform routine database backup, recovery, and maintenance activities to prevent data loss and ensure high availability.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve database issues promptly to minimize system downtime and impact on business operations.




- Collaborate with application developers and system administrators to facilitate database integration and deployment processes.
- Support database migration, upgrades, and deployment activities, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database structures, configurations, and procedures for future reference and compliance purposes.
- Implement best practices for database security and manage user access permissions in accordance with organizational policies.
