Job Description: Associate - Category Demand Management

Experience Required: 3.0-5.0 years

As an Associate in Category Demand Management, you will play a critical role in optimizing demand planning and forecasting processes to support the organization's category management objectives.



You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to drive strategic decisions that maximize product availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct demand planning and forecasting activities to ensure accurate stock levels and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with category managers and sales teams to understand market demands and develop strategies to meet customer requirements.
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to predict future demand patterns and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor product performance and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and effective supply chain management.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate demand forecasts, inventory projections, and performance metrics to key stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in demand planning and category management to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and initiatives to support the overall business objectives of the organization.
