Company Description

Scout is an early-stage platform that helps students find and apply to the right universities abroad, and helps universities find the right students. We're starting with students in Asia applying to universities in the UK, Canada, the UAE, Australia, Europe and other countries. We're a small founding team, so you'll work directly with the founder and see your work go live quickly.

The role

Students increasingly get answers from Google's AI summaries and chatbots, so generic study-abroad articles no longer work. We want accurate, specific, well-sourced content that search engines and AI tools trust and cite: country and university guides, requirement explainers for different school curricula, and data-driven programme pages built from university catalogues.

What you'll do

- Research and write guides such as UK entry requirements for CBSE students or Cost of studying in Canada from the UAE
- Use AI tools to draft faster, then fact-check every claim against official university and government sources
- Keep published pages current: add last checked dates and update when rules, fees or deadlines change
- Do keyword research and plan content around what students and parents search for
- Structure pages clearly (tables, FAQs, sources) so they can be quoted by search engines and AI assistants
- Help turn our programme data into useful comparison and listing pages
- Track results (search impressions,



clicks, sign-ups) and report monthly

What you'll learn

- How SEO works now that AI summaries and chat assistants answer many searches
- How to use AI for writing without losing accuracy or voice
- Content strategy for an early-stage marketplace

What we're looking for

- Excellent written English — explicit, simple and accurate
- Careful research habits: you check sources and cite them
- Basic understanding of SEO (keywords, titles, internal links), or a strong willingness to learn fast
- Comfortable using AI writing tools responsibly
- No prior work experience required

Details

- Location: Remote; primary location India
- Hours: Part-time (at least 20 hours a week)
- Duration: 3–6 months, with the possibility of extending or converting to a longer role
- Pay: paid internship with a monthly stipend of INR 10,000
- Start: as soon as possible
