Your area of work:
Group Accounting is responsible for Deutsche Börse Group's financial reporting under IFRS and HGB and serves as the central competence center for accounting-related matters across the Group.
The section defines accounting policies and standards, supports business initiatives with accounting expertise, and ensures high-quality and compliant external financial reporting.
In addition, Group Accounting plays a key role in M&A; transactions, capital management activities, and major finance transformation initiatives, including SAP migration, integration, and implementation projects across the Group.
As a Business Process Specialist Finance Transformation, you will combine your accounting expertise with process improvement and transformation initiatives.
You will work closely with Group Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, and IT to ensure that accounting requirements are appropriately reflected in future finance processes and systems.
In the A2R environment, you will drive the development of core accounting processes from general ledger accounting to asset accounting and Real Estate Finance.
A particular focus is on data migrations and the accurate mapping of financial data objects into SAP target architectures.
Your responsibilities:
- Act as the subject matter expert for Accounting-to-Reporting (A2R) processes, including General Ledger, Asset Accounting and Lease Accounting within respective SAP modules
- Define and validate accounting and reporting requirements within finance transformation initiatives
- Contribute to the design and harmonization of accounting processes across Deutsche Börse Group entities
- Identify process improvements, automation potential and control requirements within the A2R process
- Support the migration of financial master and transactional data from an accounting and governance perspective
- Define business requirements for data migrations across all relevant financial data objects
- Support fit-gap analyses, process design, test concepts and business sign-off Internal
- Work closely with Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, IT and external implementation partners Internal.
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Several years of skilled experience in Accounting, Financial Reporting, General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting, or a related finance function
- Sound knowledge of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Experience in finance transformation, ERP implementation, or process improvement initiatives is advantageous
- Practical experience with SAP as a key user, process owner, or business expert is desirable
- Experience with SAP FI, Asset Accounting, RE-FX
- Understanding of financial data migration concepts and data quality requirements is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate accounting requirements into process solutions
- Ability to structure and analyze complex topics and communicate them clearly to different audiences
- Strong cross-functional mindset and ability to connect processes across different business functions
- Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
