We are hiring a Solar Technician with hands-on experience in Ground Mounted Solar Power Plant Operations & Maintenance (O&M;).

The candidate will be responsible for carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance, field-level electrical troubleshooting, fault rectification, and supervision of junior technicians to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct daily inspection and maintenance of PV modules, strings, SCB, SMB, inverters, RMU, LT/HT panels, UPS, batteries, and associated equipment.
- Perform cleaning, tightening, replacement, and repair activities as per O&M; schedules.
- Troubleshoot and attend AC/DC faults and breakdowns and restore equipment operation promptly.
- Monitor inverter/system alarms and report abnormalities to the Engineer.
- Assist the Engineer with transformer and switchgear testing, including IR, winding resistance, and ratio tests.
- Maintain daily maintenance, fault rectification, inspection, and spare consumption records.




- Guide and supervise junior technicians and helpers during field activities.
- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures, PPE requirements, and electrical safety practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

- ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering – Mandatory
- Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in Solar Power Plant O&M;
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, inverter operation, and string fault rectification.
- Ability to safely handle electrical tools, testing instruments, and equipment.
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and attend breakdowns when required.
