Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer with hands-on experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The candidate will be responsible for developing mechanical designs, 3D models, engineering drawings, jigs, fixtures, and production-related design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Create 3D models and mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
- Develop and modify jigs, fixtures, tools, and machine components.
- Prepare fabrication and manufacturing drawings with proper dimensions and tolerances.
- Understand customer requirements and convert them into practical engineering designs.
- Make design modifications based on production, quality, and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and other departments.
- Support production teams in resolving design and manufacturing issues.
- Select suitable materials, components, fasteners, and standard parts.
- Perform basic design calculations and ensure structural and functional requirements.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and maintain proper design documentation.




- Review drawings for dimensions, tolerances, manufacturability, and accuracy.
- Assist in prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable engineering standards and company procedures.
- Maintain revision control and update drawings/design documents when required.

Required Technical Skills

- SolidWorks – Mandatory
- AutoCAD – Mandatory
- 3D modelling and assembly design
- 2D drafting and detailing
- GD&T; and engineering drawing standards
- Knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication processes
- Knowledge of materials and mechanical components
- Basic knowledge of jigs, fixtures, tools, and machine design
- BOM preparation and drawing revision control
- Ability to interpret technical drawings

Pay: ₹11,409.91 - ₹35,789.66 per month
