About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer with strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data solutions on the Snowflake platform while ensuring high performance, security, and data quality. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and architects to build modern cloud-based data platforms that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role requires a strong understanding of data modeling, database optimization, data integration, and cloud-native data architecture.

What You'll Do:

- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouses, data marts, and analytical data solutions.




- Build and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and database objects.
- Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing workloads.
- Implement and manage data ingestion frameworks using Snowpipe, COPY commands, external stages, and cloud storage services.
- Develop data transformation, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation processes to ensure high data quality.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, warehouse sizing, storage utilization, and query execution efficiency.
- Design and implement dimensional data models, star schemas, and snowflake schemas for analytics solutions.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON, Parquet, Avro, and CSV.
- Implement data governance, role-based access controls (RBAC), masking policies, data security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with business users, data analysts, architects, and engineering teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions.
- Support deployment activities, troubleshoot production issues, and implement performance improvements.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms, third-party applications, and enterprise data sources.
- Create technical documentation, data flow diagrams, and operational support documents.
- Participate in Agile planning, sprint ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 8 to 15 years of experience in data warehousing, database development, and enterprise data solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, development, administration, and performance optimization.
- Expertise in SQL programming, query tuning, stored procedures, and database performance management.
- Experience designing and implementing large-scale ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Robust understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data architecture principles.
- Experience with Snowpipe, external tables, stages,



streams, tasks, and data sharing capabilities.
- Proficiency working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured data including JSON, XML, Parquet, and CSV files.
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, security controls, and compliance requirements.
- Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation practices within data engineering environments.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing performance across large datasets.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional team environments.
