Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented 2D Echo Technician to perform echocardiography procedures and assist cardiologists in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, patient care skills, and the ability to operate diagnostic imaging equipment efficiently in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform 2D Echocardiography procedures as prescribed by cardiologists
- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment effectively
- Prepare patients for echo procedures and explain the process clearly
- Capture accurate cardiac images and assist in diagnostic evaluations
- Monitor patient condition during procedures and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain proper documentation and patient records
- Coordinate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure equipment cleanliness, calibration, and preventive maintenance
- Follow hospital safety protocols and infection control standards
- Assist in scheduling and managing patient workflow within the department

Required Skills & Qualifications





- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Technology or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in echocardiography or cardiac diagnostics preferred
- Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and echo procedures
- Ability to operate echocardiography machines and related equipment
- Good communication and patient handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge and medical documentation skills
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and patient safety standards
