Job Description – SEO Content & Project

Coordinator

About the role :

We run SEO and content programs for US-based clients, mostly local service businesses competing city by city. We need someone who can do the SEO and content work themselves and keep several client projects moving at once.

You will work alongside our SEO lead and own deliverables across clients. You will coordinate writers, designers, developers, video creators and link builders so work ships on time and to standard.

Key responsibilities :

SEO research and strategy -

- Build keyword sets for service pages, city pages, landing pages and blogs using Ahrefs, SEMrush and Google Search Console.
- Run competitor analysis to find ranking gaps, content opportunities and on-page tactics competitors use that we don't.
- Turn keyword and competitor research into a prioritised list of blog topics, page ideas and video topics for each client.

Content and page creation -

- Write briefs for blogs and pages covering target keywords, search intent, structure, internal links and local proof points.
- Write and edit web page and landing page content that converts as well as ranks.
- Review drafts from writers and interns for accuracy, keyword use, tone and local relevance.
- Run on-page SEO checklists before and after publishing: titles, meta, headings, schema, internal links, image alt text and indexing requests.

Video and local SEO -

- Ideate video topics mapped to blogs and pages, and brief the video team with outlines they can script from.
- Write and publish Google Business Profile posts aligned with each client's target cities and offers.

Project management and coordination -

- Manage a monthly content calendar across multiple clients, breaking each deliverable into steps with owners and deadlines.




- Coordinate handoffs between writers, designers, developers, video creators and link builders, and follow up on blockers early.
- Track progress in our task management system and flag deadline risks before they are missed.
- Share regular status updates with the team lead and contribute to client reporting when needed.

Requirements :

- 2–4 years of hands-on SEO and content experience, ideally in an agency serving multiple clients.
- Strong keyword research and competitor analysis skills with Ahrefs, SEMrush or similar, plus Google Search Console and GA4.
- Excellent written English: able to write page content for a US audience and give explicit feedback on others' drafts.
- Solid understanding of on-page SEO, local SEO and Google Business Profile.
- Comfortable with WordPress or a similar CMS and basic schema markup.
- Proven ability to juggle several projects, run a calendar and hold people to deadlines.
- Experience with a project management tool such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello or Monday.

Good to have :

- Experience with US real estate or local service business clients.
- Familiarity with landing page CRO and A/B testing.
- Experience briefing video or short-form video content for SEO.
- Comfortable using AI tools for research and drafting while keeping quality and accuracy high.

Success in the first 90 days :

You own the full content workflow for at least two clients, from keyword set to published page. Deliverables ship on schedule and pass the on-page checklist the first time
