Job Summary

The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering evidence-based physiotherapy treatment to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, orthopedic, pediatric, geriatric, and post-operative conditions. The role focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, improving functional independence, and enhancing patients' quality of life through individualized rehabilitation programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients' physical condition, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on clinical assessment.
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, electrotherapy, gait training, and mobility rehabilitation.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy services.
- Rehabilitate post-operative patients including orthopedic, neurological, cardiothoracic, and ICU patients.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and injury prevention.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.




- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
- Coordinate with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Ensure proper maintenance and secure use of physiotherapy equipment.
- Follow NABH standards, infection control protocols, and patient safety guidelines.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental meetings.
- Provide health education and ergonomic advice to patients.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) – Mandatory
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) – Preferred
- Valid State Physiotherapy Council Registration
