Role Description This is a remote, contract role for a SAP ABAP Developer. The SAP ABAP Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP, ensuring high-quality, efficient, and secure code. Daily responsibilities include working with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, building and enhancing interfaces using IDoc and BAPI, and performing debugging, performance tuning, and issue resolution. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical solutions,



supporting integration and deployment activities, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver stable and scalable SAP enhancements.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
- Candidates should possess solid expertise in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), including classic and modern ABAP development techniques.
- Candidates should possess hands-on experience with SAP integration technologies such as IDoc and BAPI for building and maintaining interfaces.
- Experience with SAP modules (e.g., SD, MM, FI/CO) and understanding of standard SAP processes is beneficial.
- Ability to analyze requirements, create technical specifications, and perform unit and integration testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote workplace.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with functional, technical, and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience as a SAP ABAP Developer in enterprise or consulting environments is preferred.
