Role Overview

We are seeking a hands‑on Technical Architect to serve as the technical anchor of a dedicated Innovation Lab, driving next‑generation capabilities for Indian financial markets. This is a high‑impact role for a proven technology leader with deep expertise in AI, cloud, and distributed systems, within regulated financial environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and scale production‑grade AI solutions for mission‑critical financial systems.
- Lead design and implementation of distributed systems, microservices, event‑driven architectures, and scalable APIs.
- Establish and mature Innovation Lab/CoE frameworks within a regulated financial institution.
- Drive adoption of LLM application architectures, RAG pipelines, agentic orchestration, model gateways, and guardrails.
- Engineer secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure across sovereign cloud and on‑premise environments.




- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver innovation aligned with market infrastructure needs.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements

- Education: BE/BTech/MCA in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or related discipline.
- Experience: 8–12 years in software engineering, with:
- Minimum 3 years architecting and scaling AI solutions as Tech Lead/Architect.
- Minimum 5 years in distributed systems, microservices, APIs.
- Minimum 3 years in cloud architecture with Kubernetes & IaC (Terraform).
- Proven expertise in AI platform engineering, GPU infrastructure, sovereign cloud/on‑premise environments.
- Prior experience setting up Innovation Labs, CoEs, or greenfield tech units in banks, exchanges, clearing houses, depositories, or large NBFCs.
- Robust depth in regulated environment architecture and security.
- Hands‑on proficiency with:
- Languages/Frameworks: Python, FastAPI
- Containers/Orchestration: Docker/Podman, Kubernetes
- IaC: Terraform
- Databases: PostgreSQL/TimescaleDB, Kafka, graph & vector databases
