ABOUT STOCKBAZAAR StockBazaar is an all-in-one market research and analytics terminal for Indian investors. We are building charts, screeners, F&O; analytics, mutual fund tools and portfolio analytics for retail investors across India - everything an investor needs to research the market, in one place. We are a data and analytics platform. We are not a broker and not an advisory. The product is pre-launch. You will be testing it before the country sees it.
WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS Most QA roles are about finding broken buttons. This one is different. Our biggest risk is not a page that fails to load. It is a page that loads perfectly and shows a wrong number. A price that has not been adjusted for a bonus issue. A P/E ratio that does not match the filing. A screener that quietly returns the wrong stocks. A user cannot tell the difference - and neither can we, unless someone checks. That someone is you.
LOCATION AND WORKING HOURS Location: Delhi NCR Type: Full time, work from office Working days: Monday to Saturday Working hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Markets open at 9:15 AM. On trading days the platform has to be correct from the opening bell.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Test the product end to end - web and mobile - across every module: charts, screeners, scanners, option chain, F&O; analytics, mutual funds, portfolio, IPO and market data pages. Verify that the numbers are right, not just that they appear. This means checking our output against the actual source - exchange filings, bhavcopy, company results - and raising it when they do not match. Specifically, you will be checking things like: - Are prices correctly adjusted for splits, bonuses and dividends - Do fundamental ratios - P/E, EPS, ROE, margins - match the reported financials - Do screener and scanner results actually satisfy the filter conditions applied - Are portfolio returns, XIRR and P&L; calculated correctly - Do option Greeks and implied volatility behave sensibly - Is live and delayed data labelled correctly,



and is delayed data actually delayed - Is any part of the app showing placeholder or stale data dressed up as real Write clear, reproducible bug reports that a developer can act on without asking you three questions first. Build and maintain test cases and regression checklists, so the same bug does not ship twice. Work directly with the founder and the engineering team. You will be the last person between a bug and a user.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS 2 to 3 years in software testing or quality assurance. We are hiring for more than one position and are open to both profiles: Manual testing focus - strong functional and exploratory testing, sharp eye for detail, positive written bug reports, comfortable with test case design, cross-browser and mobile testing. Automation focus - able to write and maintain automated tests. Selenium, Playwright or Cypress. API testing with Postman or similar. Basic SQL to check data directly. For both, we need: - Genuine attention to detail. This role is about noticing that a number is slightly wrong, not that a page is blank - The instinct to verify rather than assume. If something looks right, prove it - Clear written English. Bug reports are your main output - Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets Strong preference: knowledge of Indian stock markets - equities, F&O;, mutual funds, how corporate actions work, how to read a company's financials. If you have this, say so clearly in your application. If you do not have it but you are genuinely interested in markets and willing to learn, we will train you. Good to have: experience testing a fintech, trading or data-heavy product. Basic SQL. API testing.
WHAT THIS IS NOT This is not a role where you run through a script someone else wrote. You will be expected to think, dig, and challenge what the developers tell you. If you find satisfaction in proving that something everyone assumed was fine is actually broken, you will enjoy this job.
