Job Description – Logistics Manager

Duty Hours: 12 Hours per Shift

Job Purpose

To manage and coordinate transportation, dispatch and logistics operations efficiently, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of bioplastic and compostable products across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily dispatch and transportation operations.
- Plan and arrange vehicles according to customer delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Store, Sales and Accounts teams for timely dispatch.
- Manage pan-India transportation and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers and logistics service providers.
- Negotiate transportation rates and control logistics costs.
- Track vehicle movement and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure proper dispatch documentation, including invoices, e-way bills and LR/GR.
- Maintain records of dispatches, freight costs, vehicle details and delivery status.
- Monitor loading and unloading of finished products.
- Resolve transportation and delivery-related issues.




- Coordinate with customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Monitor transporter performance and maintain good vendor relationships.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly logistics reports.
- Guide and supervise the logistics and dispatch team.
- Follow company safety procedures and operational policies.
- Perform other duties assigned by Management.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation and dispatch operations.
- Good negotiation, coordination and communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and logistics documentation.
- Valuable problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Experience handling pan-India transportation will be preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a 12-hour shift.

Qualification & Experience

- Qualification: Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 5–10 years in Logistics, Transportation, Dispatch or Supply Chain.
- Experience in bioplastic, plastic, packaging or manufacturing industries will be an advantage.
- Duty: 12 hours per shift as per company requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
