Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to join our organization in Kochi, India. - Develop and implement comprehensive procurement policies, procedures, and strategies that align with organizational goals and support operational efficiency
- Forecast procurement requirements in collaboration with department heads to ensure timely and effective sourcing of goods and services
- Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors, recognizing local market dynamics and opportunities in the Kochi region
- Manage purchasing systems and approval workflows, ensuring purchase orders, supplier setup, pricing, contract terms, and approval limits are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policy
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms strategically to achieve optimal value, quality,



and service levels while maintaining transparent communication with all stakeholders
- Source and evaluate new suppliers and products to enhance quality, efficiency, sustainability, and innovation across the organization
- Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delivery discrepancies, pricing variances, and supplier invoice queries in a timely and professional manner
- Support organizational sustainability and responsible sourcing objectives by identifying local, ethical, and environmentally responsible suppliers where commercially viable
- Monitor and analyze procurement budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost-control initiatives to maximize financial efficiency and accountability
- Collaborate with Finance and Operations teams to optimize spending, maintain financial compliance, and ensure transparent reporting
- Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and reorder points to prevent shortages or overstock situations
- Mitigate risks related to supplier reliability, quality, delivery, and supply chain disruptions through proactive analysis and contingency planning
- Maintain proper documentation, contracts, and records for auditing and reporting purposes
- Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, cost savings, and operational efficiency for executive review
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational objectives and drive continuous improvement
