Job Description – Finishing In-Charge

Industry: Leather Garments Manufacturing / Export House

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Finishing In-Charge to manage and supervise the finishing operations of leather garments in a manufacturing or export house setting. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that finished garments meet the required quality standards and are properly packed and dispatched within the scheduled timelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in leather garment finishing, quality checking, team supervision, and coordination with production and quality departments.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise all finishing activities for leather garments.
- Monitor the finishing process to ensure garments meet required quality and appearance standards.
- Conduct quality checking and final inspection before packing and dispatch.
- Supervise the finishing team and allocate daily work according to production requirements.
- Ensure the finishing process is completed on time as per production schedules.
- Coordinate closely with the Production and Quality teams to resolve finishing-related issues.




- Check garments for defects, stains, loose threads, finishing inconsistencies, and other quality issues.
- Ensure proper folding, tagging, packing, and labeling of finished garments.
- Maintain finishing and packing standards as per customer and export requirements.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure proper utilization of manpower.
- Identify recurring finishing issues and coordinate with relevant teams for corrective action.
- Maintain proper records and reports related to finishing, quality, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensure workplace discipline, cleanliness, and adherence to safety and operational procedures.
- Support timely dispatch by ensuring all finished garments are ready as per shipment schedules.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in leather garments manufacturing, finishing, or an export house. Experience in handling finishing teams and coordinating with production and quality departments will be preferred. Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, team-handling ability, and the capability to work within production timelines are essential.
