Cylindrical Grinder Operator

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform OD (Outer Diameter) grinding operations as per drawing specifications.

· Perform ID (Inner Diameter) grinding with high accuracy and surface finish control.

· Carry out taper grinding as per required angles and tolerances.

· Perform manual machine setting including job setting, wheel dressing, alignment, and centering.

· Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

· Maintain dimensional accuracy within required tolerances.

· Work in Tool Room for precision components and development jobs.

· Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as micrometer, vernier caliper, bore gauge, and dial gauge.

· Ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the grinding machine.





· Follow safety procedures and company policies.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

· Strong knowledge of Cylindrical Grinding Machine operation.

· Hands-on experience in OD, ID, and taper grinding.

· Experience in Tool Room setting.

· Ability to perform manual job setting and alignment independently.

· Good understanding of tolerances and surface finish requirements.

· Basic knowledge of measuring instruments.
