About the Role

We are looking for a talented and creative Odia Content Writer / Script Writer who can understand the content and materials provided and transform them into engaging, well-structured, and audience-friendly stories/scripts in Odia.

The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the Odia language, excellent storytelling ability, and the creativity to present information in an interesting and easy-to-understand manner.

Key Responsibilities

- Create and formulate Odia stories/scripts based on the content, information, and materials provided.
- Convert raw information, news, facts, or reference material into engaging and meaningful stories.
- Develop clear, attractive, and audience-friendly content in Odia.
- Research and understand the subject before preparing the final script.
- Maintain proper Odia grammar, vocabulary, sentence structure, and storytelling flow.
- Create content suitable for digital platforms, videos, social media, news, and other media formats.
- Develop suitable introductions, story flow, and conclusions to make the content engaging.
- Work closely with the editorial/media team to understand content requirements and make revisions when required.
- Ensure the content is original, accurate,



and appropriate for the target audience.

Required Skills

- Excellent command of written and spoken Odia.
- Strong storytelling and script-writing skills.
- Good understanding of Odia grammar and sentence formation.
- Ability to convert complex information into simple and engaging content.
- Good research and content-analysis skills.
- Creative thinking and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple assignments.

Preferred Qualification

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Odia, Literature, or a related field is preferred.
- Freshers with solid Odia writing and storytelling skills may also apply.

Added Advantage

- Experience in Anchoring / News Anchoring / Video Presentation will be an added advantage.
- Experience in journalism, digital media, news writing, or script writing will be preferred.
- Familiarity with social media and video content formats is a plus.

Experience

0–2+ years of experience in Odia content writing, script writing, journalism, media, or a related field.
Freshers with excellent writing and storytelling abilities are also welcome.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can take raw content and reference material and turn it into a compelling Odia story or script that is informative, natural, and engaging for the audience.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
