· Job Title: Senior Structural Designer (Civil / Mechanical Interfaces)

· Experience Required: 10+ Years

· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related structural discipline.

· Industry Type: EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), Detail Design of civil,structural Engineering, or Heavy Industrial Manufacturing .

Key Responsibilities

· Design & Modeling: Create detailed 3D models and 2D construction drawings for concrete foundations, steel structures, equipment supports, and mechanical skids. [

· Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with mechanical, piping, and electrical teams to resolve physical clashes and interface constraints.

· Calculations & Detailing: Prepare material quantity takeoffs (MTO), bar bending schedules, structural general arrangement (GA) drawings, and connection details.

· Vendor Data Review: Interpret vendor drawings and equipment loads (for mechanical equipment, tanks, and pumps) to design accurate supporting structures.

· Code Compliance:



Ensure all designs comply with local and international standards (such as IS codes, AISC, ACI, or Eurocodes).

· Junior Mentorship: Guide junior designers and drafters, and conduct peer reviews of drawing packages before final client submission.

· Estimation :-Ensure timely estimation of requires of marketing.

Required Skills & Software Proficiency

· Design Software: Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, SP3D (SmartPlant 3D), Tekla Structures, MicroStation, or Revit.

· Analysis Awareness: Basic ability to interpret structural analysis reports from tools like STAAD.Pro or SAP2000.

· Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of steel fabrication, concrete reinforcement, and mechanical equipment load paths.

· Soft Skills: Solid technical communication, problem-solving, and time-management capabilities.
