Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior FDE with strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, cloud data engineering, and consulting. The candidate will work closely with customers to design, develop, optimize, and deploy scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement scalable data engineering and analytics solutions using Databricks and Spark.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Databricks projects from requirements through production.
- Work directly with customers on technical discovery, architecture, troubleshooting, and solution design.
- Optimize Spark workloads for performance, scalability, and cost.
- Implement CI/CD and production deployment best practices.
- Support MLOps and integration of data engineering with ML workflows.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams.
- Stay current with Databricks platform capabilities and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or analytics.




- 10+ years of consulting/customer-facing experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering 6–8+ Databricks projects.
- Deep expertise in Apache Spark, including Spark runtime internals.
- Experience with 2+ cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), with deep expertise in at least one.
- Strong knowledge of Databricks, Delta Lake, Lakehouse architecture, SQL, and distributed computing.
- Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and MLOps.
- Strong understanding of performance tuning and scalability.
- Databricks Data Engineer Qualified certification and required training/classes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
