EDM Operator

Job Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) machines.
- Set up the machine according to drawings, job specifications, and process requirements.
- Perform electrode setting, workpiece alignment, and machine parameter adjustments.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining instructions.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Maintain required quality standards and production targets.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Identify machining defects and report machine/process issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements:

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or related technical qualification preferred.




- Experience as an EDM Operator is preferred; freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also apply.
- Knowledge of EDM machine operation and basic machining processes.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
- Good attention to quality and measurements.
