Job Title: Quality Engineer

Company Overview:
We are a leading polymer and plastic component manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality parts for the electrical and electronics industry. We are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product quality, process compliance, and continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain product quality throughout the manufacturing process.
- Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections of plastic/polymer components.
- Handle customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis using quality tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, and 8D.
- Prepare and maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, SOPs, and control plans.
- Coordinate with production, tool room, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Conduct process audits and support internal and external audits.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap data and drive improvement initiatives.
- Manage calibration records and quality instruments.
- Support new product development and sample approval activities.
- Maintain quality records as per company and customer requirements.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving techniques.
- Understanding of Injection Molding and Polymer Manufacturing processes.




- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of CAPA, 7 QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Education

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field.

Experience

- 2 to 6 years of experience in Quality Engineering within Polymer, Plastic Compression & Injection Molding, Electrical Components, or Electronics Manufacturing industries.
