Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional career and course counselling sessions with prospective and existing learners.
- Understand learners' educational backgrounds, career objectives, and English language requirements.
- Assess learner needs and recommend appropriate English language programs and learning pathways.
- Clearly communicate course curriculum, learning outcomes, program benefits, and career opportunities.
- Handle student enquiries through telephone calls, online consultations, and face-to-face interactions.
- Maintain consistent and timely follow-ups with prospective learners. Support prospective students throughout the enquiry-to-enrolment journey.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with students and prospective learners.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling activities, follow-ups, and student interactions in the CRM/system.
- Coordinate with academic, admissions, and other relevant teams to ensure a smooth learner experience.
- Address learner concerns and provide appropriate guidance throughout the enrolment process.
- Achieve assigned counselling, enrolment, and conversion targets.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and customer service in all learner interactions.
- Stay updated on developments in English language education, certifications, and relevant career opportunities
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree. 1 + years of relevant experience in student counselling, career counselling, academic counselling, EdTech, or English language training.
- Excellent proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Strong understanding of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, counselling, and relationship-management skills. Strong follow-up, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Target-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated approach to work.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office/Google Workspace, and digital communication tools.
