Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with robust expertise in Electrical/MEP Design for complex building and infrastructure projects.

The role involves independently handling complex electrical design assignments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, supporting project planning and execution, and communicating with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently design and deliver complex Electrical/MEP design projects.

- Prepare and review electrical designs for:

- Electrical Distribution Panels

- Indoor and Outdoor Lighting

- Cable Management Systems

- Lighting and Lux Level Calculations

- Load Estimation

- Voltage Drop Calculations

- Short-Circuit Calculations

- Design and coordinate ELV systems, including:

- Fire Alarm

- PAVA

- CCTV

- Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)

- Perform electrical calculations and ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards.

- Prepare and support RFP/estimation activities.

- Plan, schedule and coordinate technical requirements for projects.

- Coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

- Communicate and coordinate with international clients, contractors and other stakeholders.

- Review project deliverables and ensure quality and technical accuracy.

- Guide and mentor junior engineers and support team skill development.

- Contribute to design optimization and project delivery activities.

Must-Have Skills





- 8+ years of relevant Electrical/MEP Design experience in a consulting/design environment.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience in:

- Electrical Design

- Electrical Distribution

- Lighting Design

- Lux Level Calculations

- Load Estimation

- Voltage Drop Calculations

- Short-Circuit Calculations

- ELV Systems

- Hands-on experience with DIALux and Amtech.

- Experience working on complex building projects such as:

- High-rise buildings

- Commercial projects

- Residential projects

- Infrastructure projects

- Strong knowledge of NEC, CPWD and international electrical codes/practices.

- Experience in a consulting/design environment.

- Strong client and stakeholder communication skills.

- Ability to independently handle complex design assignments.

- Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.

- Working knowledge of Revit-MEP.

- Working knowledge of Navisworks.

- ETABS exposure.

- International project experience.

- Experience in Data Center projects.

- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

- Experience in estimation/RFP preparation.

- Team handling and mentoring experience.

Important Candidate Information

- Site experience is not mandatory.

- Candidates from an Electrical/MEP consulting or design background are preferred.

- Candidates should be comfortable working on complex multidisciplinary projects.

- Strong communication skills are important due to international client/stakeholder interaction.
