Mid-Level Software Engineer (Full Stack - Backend Heavy | Product & Growth Team)

About the Role

We are hiring a backend-focused mid-level software engineer to join our Product & Growth Team. This role is primarily backend-driven, with occasional frontend collaboration to support experiments, dashboards, and internal tools.

You will work on scalable backend systems that power product features, growth experiments, data pipelines, and user-facing services. The ideal candidate enjoys ownership, fast execution, and building systems that directly impact growth metrics.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs

Develop systems supporting product growth, experimentation, and analytics

Write high-quality, maintainable code using Python, Node.js/Typescript, and/or Golang

Design and optimize SQL databases and queries

Build and maintain event-driven architectures using Kafka





Containerize and deploy services using Docker

Work in Linux-based development and production environments

Collaborate with product, growth, and frontend teams

Make occasional frontend contributions using React.js (basic to intermediate level is sufficient)

Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and performance tuning

Debug production issues and improve system reliability and scalability

Required Skills & Experience

4 -5 Years (1 no) of software engineering experience

Strong backend development experience with Python, Node.js, or Golang

Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases

Hands-on experience with Kafka or similar messaging systems

Experience with Docker and containerized services

Comfortable working in Linux environments

Understanding of backend system design, APIs, and microservices

Positive grasp of data structures, algorithms, and debugging techniques
