JD: Role Snapshot (what we are hiring for)

- Hands-on leader who has built and operated a 24x7 NOC (not just inherited one).
- Will lead a centralized Hyderabad-based operation of ~40 60 staff across Tier 1 / Tier 2, with access to Tier 3 engineering via escalation.
- Scope spans monitoring and incident coordination for distributed customer-site data centers plus Azure/AWS cloud services supporting fare collection and payment card processing.
- Must enforce disciplined ITIL-style monitoring/event and incident management; ensure operational controls for logging, backups, change control, and DR readiness are running and evidenced.
- Workplace is compliance-heavy: PCI DSS v4 operations support and ISO 27001-aligned processes (audit evidence orientation).

Minimum "Must-Have"
- Led a 24x7 operations organization (NOC/SRE/Service Operations) with people leadership responsibility (hiring, coaching, performance).
- Has built or substantially re-built a NOC operating model: shift coverage, tiering, triage/escalation, runbooks, and major incident process.
- Experience running monitoring + incident response for mission-critical services (high availability / high transaction volume environments).
- Demonstrated experience with controlled operations in regulated environments (PCI, ISO 27001, SOC2, etc.) and producing audit-friendly evidence (tickets, change records, reports).
- Comfortable operating in hybrid environments (on-prem/data centers + cloud such as Azure and/or AWS).
