Job Title: Business Data Migration Expert Supply Chain & Material Master

Role Overview

The Business Data Migration Expert for Supply Chain & Material Master manages business-side data migration activities across end-to-end supply chain processes. Operating as the functional SPoC, this individual oversees data readiness, transformation validation, and load approvals for Material Master, Inventory Balances, Batch Master, Warehouse Data, Quality Data, and Production Planning touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities

- Serve as the functional point of contact for Material and Supply Chain data objects across multi-country deployment phases.

- Coordinate and execute data cleansing protocols to resolve legacy data discrepancies.

- Compile and validate construction data objects, manual data inputs, and warehouse setup requirements.

- Partner with IT and country Business Data Owners to identify object scope and build value-mapping logic.

- Supply business logic and material categorization parameters to technical teams responsible for extraction and transformation scripts.

- Verify data readiness against defined data quality metrics, approving pre- and post-load upload files.





- Conduct manual data loading into target systems when required, following established security and audit frameworks.

- Manage dual maintenance operations and execute data verification check scripts.

- Provide hypercare defect triage and functional root-cause resolution for inventory and material data issues.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in country, regional, or global supply chain operational/project roles.

- ERP & Systems: Direct SAP implementation experience with emphasis on MM (Materials Management), WM/EWM, and QM.

- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Material Master attributes, Inventory valuations, Batch Management, Warehouse logistics, Quality inspection data, and Production Planning dependencies.

- Data Migration: Demonstrated track record of business-side data migration ownership and validation.

- Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data validation, data parsing, and reconciliation.

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.

- Competencies: Strong verbal/written English communication, independent workload prioritization, and cross-functional team leadership.
