Position: Condition Monitoring Engineer (ISO CAT II)

Deployment: On-site ( oil & gas/ power/ Industrial / Semiconductor / Rotating Machinery Facilities)

Technical Responsibilities:

- Perform vibration measurement and diagnostics using portable vibration analyzers capable of measuring acceleration, velocity, displacement, and dynamic signals.
- Conduct FFT spectrum analysis, time waveform analysis (TWF), envelope analysis, and overall vibration amplitude assessment.
- Perform bump testing to identify structural natural frequencies and resonance conditions in machinery and steel foundations.
- Execute Run-Up / Coast-Down (RuCd) testing with tachometer integration to identify critical speeds and resonance zones.
- Perform condition monitoring of rotating equipment including motors, pumps, compressors, fans, turbines, and gearboxes.
- Interpret vibration severity levels in accordance with ISO 10816 / ISO 20816 standards.
- Diagnose machinery faults such as rotor imbalance, shaft misalignment, mechanical looseness, bearing defects, gear mesh defects, and electrical motor faults.
- Acquire vibration data using IEPE/ICP accelerometers, tri-axial sensors, proximity probes, and optical tachometer sensors.
- Perform synchronous analysis and order tracking using RPM reference signals.
- Configure measurement parameters including frequency range selection, anti-aliasing filtering,



window functions (Hanning / rectangular), and trigger modes.
- Analyze vibration spectra with high resolution FFT lines and identify harmonic, subharmonic, and sideband patterns.
- Perform temperature monitoring where applicable to correlate thermal and vibration behavior.
- Maintain historical vibration databases and perform trend analysis for predictive maintenance planning.
- Support machinery commissioning, troubleshooting, and root cause failure analysis using vibration diagnostics.
- Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and maintenance teams for corrective actions and reliability improvement.

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Reliability Engineering or equivalent.
- ISO 18436 Vibration Analyst Certification – Category II (minimum requirement)
- Practical experience with portable vibration analyzers and multi-channel FFT analyzers.

Technical Knowledge:

- Rotating machinery dynamics and fault signatures.
- Bearing defect frequency analysis (BPFO, BPFI, BSF, FTF).
- Spectral analysis, harmonic analysis, and sideband interpretation.
- Structural resonance and modal behavior of machine foundations.
- Predictive maintenance and condition monitoring methodologies.

Pay: From ₹300,000.00 per year
