Job Description – Senior Officer – RM Programmer

Department: Raw Material
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. preferred
Experience: 3–6 years in Steel / Manufacturing Industry

Job Purpose

Plan and monitor raw material availability, movement, and inventory to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare daily/weekly RM planning and material movement schedules.
- Monitor RM stock, consumption, receipts, and requirements.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Stores, RHMS, and Production.
- Plan rake/truck unloading and material movement.
- Maintain RM inventory and prepare MIS reports.
- Identify shortages/excess stock and take timely corrective action.
- Ensure optimum inventory levels and compliance with SOPs.

- RM planning & inventory management
- MS Excel and MIS reporting
- Data analysis and coordination
- Knowledge of steel plant raw materials
