JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: Sewing & Packing Load Man

Department: Sewing / Packing
Reports To: Supervisor / Line In-charge
Location: Production Division

Job Purpose

To support the Sewing and Packing departments by safely and efficiently moving materials, bundles, finished products, and packing materials between designated work areas while maintaining proper production flow.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect sewing bundles and materials from the designated area.
- Move and load sewing bundles between cutting, sewing, checking, and packing sections.
- Transfer finished garments/innerwear to the packing area.
- Arrange bundles and packed products systematically in the designated locations.
- Load and unload cartons, bundles, packing materials, and finished goods safely.
- Maintain proper identification and separation of different styles, sizes, colours, and quantities.
- Support the production team in maintaining continuous material flow.
- Ensure materials are handled carefully to avoid damage, mix-up, or loss.
- Follow supervisor instructions regarding priority materials and production requirements.




- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping in the working area.
- Follow all safety procedures while lifting, carrying, stacking, and moving materials.
- Report any material shortage, damage, mismatch, or production-related issue to the supervisor.

Skills & Competencies
- Ability to handle and move materials safely.
- Basic understanding of garment/innerwear production flow.
- Ability to identify bundles, labels, sizes, colours, and quantities.
- Physical fitness for material handling activities.
- Teamwork and coordination.
- Discipline and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: Minimum 8th / 10th Standard preferred.
- Experience: Freshers can be considered; experience in garment manufacturing/material handling is an advantage.
