JOB DESCRIPTION – MECHANICAL MANAGER

Position: Mechanical Manager
Department: Mechanical Maintenance / Engineering
Industry: BOPP Film / Dielectric & Electrical Products
Reporting To: Plant Head / General Manager – Engineering

1. Job Purpose

The Mechanical Manager will be responsible for the overall mechanical maintenance, reliability, engineering, and technical support of the plant to ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted operation of production facilities.

The position will be responsible for the mechanical reliability of the BOPP mainline, slitting and rewinding equipment, extrusion and stretching systems, dielectric/electrical film manufacturing equipment, utilities, material-handling systems, and other mechanical installations.

The Mechanical Manager will lead the maintenance team to achieve maximum equipment availability, minimum breakdowns and production downtime, optimum maintenance costs,



and compliance with all applicable safety and statutory requirements.

3. Mechanical Maintenance

- Take overall responsibility for the mechanical maintenance of all plant equipment and facilities.
- Ensure maximum availability and reliability of production and utility equipment.
- Develop and implement effective Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), and Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs.
- Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance activities as per OEM recommendations and approved schedules.
- Lead troubleshooting and rectification of mechanical breakdowns.
- Monitor recurring failures and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action
