Position: HVAC PROJECT ENGINEER

Work Location : BRUNEI DHARUSSALAM

Role & responsibilities

- Design HVAC systems in accordance with project requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration.
- Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Oversee HVAC installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Evaluate system sustainability and recommend energy-efficient solutions.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders regarding project requirements and progress updates.

Key Tasks and Duties

- Utilize HVAC engineering software for system design, modeling, and simulation.
- Perform cooling load, heating load, and energy calculations.
- Coordinate procurement of equipment, materials, and subcontractor services.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes,and project specifications.
- Troubleshoot HVAC system issues during installation, testing, and post-commissioning stages.




- Maintain accurate project documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in HVAC design, project engineering, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, relevant codes, standards, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in HVAC design and engineering software.
- Positive project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
