Position Title:- QA Tester

Location :- Gurugram

Profile Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical QA Tester to join our Technology Team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and End-to-End (E2E) Testing. The candidate will be responsible for testing applications throughout the software development lifecycle, identifying and documenting defects, validating fixes, and ensuring that new features and existing functionalities work as expected before production release. The primary focus of this role will be Manual QA and complete application workflow testing, with basic knowledge of API and database testing being an added advantage.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

● Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and application workflows. ● Analyze requirements and identify potential testing scenarios and edge cases.

● Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test checklists.

● Execute manual test cases and document test results.

● Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, System, UI, and End-to-End Testing.

● Perform complete E2E testing of application workflows from start to finish.

● Test newly developed features, enhancements, and existing application functionality.

● Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.

● Prepare detailed bug reports including steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, severity, and priority.

● Re-test defects after developers provide fixes and ensure proper closure.

● Perform regression testing before major releases and deployments.

● Conduct cross-browser and responsive testing across different browsers and screen sizes.





● Test different user roles, permissions, authentication, and access levels.

● Perform basic API testing using tools such as Postman and validate API responses where required.

● Perform basic SQL/database testing and data validation.

● Validate data consistency between application interfaces, APIs, and databases where applicable.

● Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues.

● Participate in requirement discussions and provide QA inputs from a testing perspective. ● Maintain proper QA documentation, test reports, defect reports, and test execution records.

● Perform release testing, smoke testing, sanity testing, and production verification.

● Identify edge cases and scenarios that may result in application failures or poor user experience.

● Monitor application behavior and report any critical issues observed during testing.

● Provide QA status, test results, and release feedback before production deployment.

● Ensure the application meets defined functional, business, usability, and quality requirements.

Knowledge

Education: Graduation/Master’s or any related field

● Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Software Testing/QA

● Candidates should have strong practical exposure to Manual Testing, Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and E2E Testing.

● Knowledge of Automation Testing using:

● Playwright

● Selenium

● Cypress





● or similar automation frameworks

● Basic understanding of Performance Testing.

● Basic knowledge of Application Security Testing.

● Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.

● Basic understanding of CI/CD environments and deployment processes.

● Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

● Experience working with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar QA/bug-tracking platforms.

● Knowledge of browser compatibility and responsive testing.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in Manual QA Testing.
- Strong knowledge of Functional Testing.
- Solid knowledge of Regression Testing.
- Strong knowledge of End-to-End Testing.
- Good understanding of Integration and System Testing.
- Experience in writing and executing test cases and test scenarios.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Strong defect identification, reporting, tracking, and closure skills.
- Ability to identify application issues, edge cases, and potential failure points.
- Good understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes. Technical Skills

● Basic knowledge of SQL and Database Testing.

● Basic knowledge of API Testing.

● Familiarity with Postman is an advantage.
