About the job

Company Description

Sunshine by Lissun is one of Indias fastest-growing networks of child development centers, focused on empowering children with autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and other developmental needs. As part of the larger Lissun ecosystem, Sunshine brings together a multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, special educators, psychologists, and counselors who work collaboratively to provide holistic care. At Sunshine, professionals get the opportunity to work in a structured yet innovative setting, where early intervention, family engagement, and evidence-based practices are at the heart of everything we do.

About the Role

We're looking for a City Lead to own Sunshine's business in Bengaluru end to end. You'll run day-to-day center operations, grow the business, lead the local team, and make sure every family who walks through our doors has a great experience.

This role suits someone who thinks like an owner. You should be comfortable moving between a P&L; review, a difficult parent conversation, and a hiring interview in the same afternoon.

What You'll Do

Business and growth

- Own the city's revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
- Build local demand through partnerships with pediatricians, schools, hospitals, and parent communities.
- Work with the central marketing team on local campaigns, events, and lead generation, and track conversion from enquiry to enrolment.
- Find opportunities for new services or new center locations in the city.

Operations

- Run smooth daily operations:
- Set up and enforce SOPs so that every center delivers a consistent experience.

- Track key metrics such as occupancy, retention, revenue per center, and parent satisfaction, and act on them.
- Handle escalations from parents quickly and with empathy.

People and team

- Lead, hire, and retain a team of center managers, therapists, and front-desk staff.
- Build a culture of care, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Work with clinical leadership to support therapist training, supervision, and quality standards.

Family experience

- Make sure families feel supported from their first enquiry through ongoing therapy.
- Collect and act on parent feedback to improve our services.

What We're Looking For

- Strong grasp of unit economics: you're comfortable with P&Ls;, targets, and data.
- Proven ability to hire, lead, and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication in English, plus Kannada or Hindi.
- Genuine empathy for children and families.

Nice-to-haves

- Background in pediatric healthcare, therapy services, or special education.
- Experience launching or scaling a recent location.
- An existing network among pediatricians, schools, or hospitals in Bengaluru.
